X was difficult but thought that acid must be in a bottle - to tricky or ... But I had fun drawing and painting the bottles.

This is my take for The Craft Barn Alpha Challenge

I finished the project on the Convention I'm joining so it's my first try with the blogger app.

Quiz: Which bird has given the name to a poem of Edgar Allan Poe? The Raven.

Reciep: The Raven is a printet and colored with acrylic paint.. The text is some of the linies from the poem. Some old rubons from MM. Others; stamps and TH die.

I choose Nisse - ( Tomte - Elfs )

I used to sing for my DD before they should sleep and one of the songs was "Den største mand" (The biggest man) about a little Nisse who travelled around the world ... so here's the Nisse - drawn an d painted - and then added some stamps.

Challenge with a twist this fortnight. 

LETTER L

and there must be a WINDOW on your page/ ATC

I choosed Lotus and made mosaik window around it with the leaves.

Lotus flower: Silhouette download and cut - glued 3 pieces and used as a stencil - added modellierpaste and paintet with acrylic paint.
I really enjoy the little pond we have in our garden with water lilies so I wanted to make a kind of mosaik window of the leaves. I draw the leaves around the lotus flower - cut them out with a knife and painted with acrylic.

Lots of new strawberries with cream is so yummy.

I've been painting strawberries and hearts with acrylic paint and added a little washi tape in blue.

Before

One of my favorite artists is Finnabair: Mixed-media Collage, Art-journal and Scrapbooking by Anna Dabrowska. Love how she mixes everything. 
My imitation is more simple than hers. I would never be able to use so much stuff without making it look like a mess.

Thougt it was time to make the front of my dictionary I am useing for my AJ .I covered the book with gesso and acrylic paint. Used some small stamps from Prima and added a mask. In the cornes did I use some Fragments and embossing powder and added a corner piece of Filigree Metal from The Funkie Junkie Boutique. The Mini Bookplate from Tando Creative is covered with crackle paint and distress ink.

and I chose Ugle - OWL

This is my first try with collage stamping. Think I gotta a practise a little more.

The black silhouettes of the bird and fish did my grandma give me when I was a child. They are hand cut with a little sewing scissors of a young women she cared about.

Alpha challenge_A_Automobile

ALPHA/DICTIONARY CHALLENGE - Letter A

I am playing at the Craft Barn Alpha Challenge and this for this fortnight is the letter A and I choosed Automobile.

 Lots of gesso and acrylic paint for the background. Stamped the poppies and painted them with acrylic paint. Used a Andy Skinner mask and more acrylic and stamped the Kaisercraft Checker Plate on it.
For the first time have i tryed to transfer an image - the car - which I found/googled.
The paper doll is Julie Nutting design/Prima, stamped and cut out. (used one of the pages from the dictionary I am working in.

I draw the "whisky" bottle with this song running in my head "What do you do whith a drunken sailer - Earl-eye in the morning"

My moms dictionary was so old that the "W" wasn't in it, we didn't use the letter much back in 1957. 

Used: Acrylic paint, stamps, stencils, ink, and pencils.

Hønsehuse - Henhouse

En af vores fantastiske naboer bliver60 år og har bestemt sig for at det også er tiden til efterløn, han har snakket lidt om, at han så ville have høns. Derfor har vi sammen med nogle af de andre naboer købt10 stk kyllinger. Så selvfølgelig skulle kortet være med hønsenet og hønsehuse.

PS: Han blev virkelig glad for kyllingerne.
