I used modelling paste on the edges - added some texture when it still was wet  useing some tulle as a stamp. When it was dryed - colored with white acryl paint as I also used around on the papers.

I colored this wonderful VW Beetle from Pattie's Creation with a mix of Inktense from Derwent and Neocolor from Caran d'Ache and added the ground and sky. I am very pleased with the result. LOL.
